  1. Central Bank of Kenya
  2. Capital Markets Authority
  3. Insurance Regulatory Authority

Can we mention some of the roles of these institutions?

The EAC came into life in 1967 until its collapse in 1977 . The founding member states and then partner states were Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

Among many reasons that led to the collapse of the initial EAC in 1977 before its revival in 1999 then oficially 7th July, 2000 were as follows:

1.The disparities in economic paths. Tanzania practiced radical socialism led by Nyerere under Ujamaa policy while Kenya leaned more on Capitalism and was pro-western.
2.Disproportional sharing of benefits. Kenya was the most industrial and its manufactured goods flooded Uganda and Tanzania's market. They grew resentful towards Kenya.
3.The rise of Idi Amin in Uganda. General Idi Amin ovethrown the then president Milton Obote vide a military coup. Obote was Nyerere's close friend, Nyerere refused to sit at any diplomatic table with Amin.

Let us now look at the 1st point. Kenya and Tanzania both claimed to practice socialism. Kenya's African Socialism under Tom Mboya's 1965 Sessional paper was more pragmatic and allowed for private development. It also allowed for foreign investment. This was controversial and prominent leaders like Jaramogi Odinga viewed it as capitalism cloaked in "African Socialism."
On the other hand Tanzania practiced radical state led socialism. She completely cut ties with foreigners. There were farming villages and no private ownership of land. Tanzania did not like the Kenya's socialism which was executed as capitalism. This led to hatred and eventually one of the reasons that occassioned the collapse of EAC.
WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON TOM MBOYA'S AFRICAN SOCIALISM VIS-A-VIS NYERERE'S UJAMAA POLICY****?

In the age of digital connection, the line between "friendly" and "unfaithful" has blurred into a gray area known as microcheating. This term describes a series of small, subtle actions like frequent heart-eye emojis to an ex, keeping an active dating profile "just for the ego boost," or saving a contact under a fake name that stop short of physical infidelity but still breach the sanctity of a relationship. While these acts might seem minor in isolation, their common denominator is secrecy and the cultivation of emotional intimacy outside the primary partnership.
The sting of microcheating often stems from the "energy leak" it creates. When a partner consistently seeks validation or excitement from digital "back-burner" relationships, they are effectively diverting the attention and transparency that belongs to their significant other. Itโ€™s rarely about the specific "like" or comment; itโ€™s about the intent behind it. If a behavior is something a person wouldn't do with their partner standing right behind them, it usually signals a shift from harmless networking to a betrayal of trust.
In my opinion digital loyalty is just as vital as physical loyalty.

When you maintain a consistent sleep routine, your brainโ€™s "master clock"โ€”the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN)โ€”learns to anticipate your wake-up time by tracking the rise of PER proteins. About 90 minutes before your alarm is set to go off, the SCN triggers a Cortisol Awakening Response (CAR), which gradually floods your body with the "alertness hormone" cortisol while simultaneously dropping levels of the sleep-inducing hormone melatonin. This chemical shift, combined with a natural rise in body temperature and blood pressure, transitions you into a state of light sleep or full consciousness, allowing you to "beat the clock" and avoid the stressful, adrenaline-fueled shock of a sudden alarm.
